WHY IT IS IMPORTANT TO MAKE A WILL?
Do I need a Will?
It is important for you to make a Will whether or not you consider you have many possessions or much money. It is important to make a will because: if you die without a will, there are certain rules which dictate how the Estate for example money, property, or possessions should be allocated.
1. This may not be the way that you would have wished your Estate to be distributed.
2. Unmarried partners and partners who have not registered a civil partnership cannot inherit from each other unless there is a will, so the death of one partner may create serious financial problems for the remaining partner.
3. If you have children, you will need to make a will so that arrangements for the children can be made if either one or both parents die.
4. It may be possible to reduce the amount of tax payable on the inheritance if advice is taken in advance and a will is made.
Changing a current Will
If your circumstances have changed, it is important that you make a will to ensure that your Estate is distributed according to your wishes.
Examples
1. If you have separated and your ex-partner now lives with someone else, you may want to change your will. If you are married or enter into a registered civil partnership, this will make any previous will you have made invalid.
If you are in any doubt as to whether or not you should make a will, give us a call on 0808 188 9008
For more information about what happens if someone dies without making a will, see Who can inherit if there is no will – The rules of intestacy.
Our service includes a free initial telephone call, or a video call which allows us to keep everyone at a safe distance. We do in some circumstances do a face to face meeting with a local specialist in your home, at or near your workplace, or another location in England or Wales.
Deathbed Wills
Obviously, deathbed wills are time-sensitive. We can attend any hospital or hospice in England or Wales to complete a deathbed will. The cost for this service starts from £469. If the donor of the will can still sign an e-document either by computer, pad, or smartphone, we can conclude the will service whilst on video in less than 1 hour and thus guaranteeing your wishes will be honoured. Visits to hospitals for the signing starts at £728 this includes 2, witnesses at any hospital in England or Wales and is a same day service.

How do we compare to solicitor fees on the high street?
On average, it costs about £750 for a law firm or solicitors to write a will in the UK. By using our service you get a comparable legally binding will from the comfort of your own home and, you can save as much as 80% in unnecessary solicitor fees.
Here are the top three ways we help you save money:
Fixed Fee Quote
We don’t believe in charging on an hourly basis, so we always offer a fixed-fee quote upfront. This helps make sure there are no hidden costs or surprises to our clients during the preparation of a will.
Transparent Service
Will fees are often higher on the high street because solicitors haven't embraced technology, they want you to use the old fashioned ways to keep their costs high. We offer this service too, only in exceptional circumstances.
Case Management
Our will specialists handle everything over the phone for you and deal with all the paperwork on your behalf. We also use video technology and witness all wills. This keeps your business totally private and safe.
Our Team Are Ready! 7 days a week
UK's leading team of experienced and knowledgeable lawyers.
National coverage throughout England & Wales.
Buy online
We are so transparent on prices, we now offer a new webshop where you can look through the different packages in your own time whilst relaxing at home. Avoid all the stress and hassle of going from company to company having to fill out numerous forms and then getting spammed with lots of emails and receiving numerous phone calls just to get a price. (We never spam).
